KUDAN HENRY D SUBER 9TH DAN
Kudan H. D. (Buffalo Soldier) Suber

Kudan Henry D Suber (Buffalo Soldier) 9th Dan. Kudan
Suber founder and creator of West Point Karate Academy Chon Ja-Hudum Martial Arts.
Has over 40 years of martial experience in Korean,Chinese, Japanese, Okinawan and American boxing.
Kudan Suber started his martial arts training at in Newark New Jersey at the age of 15. I got in trouble when I was young and a judge ordered me to go join P. A. L. program in Newark.
I enrolled In the Martial Arts program they had and this go me hooked. For the next several years I would train off and on.
In my training I have had the honor of training with some great instructors that thought different systems and styles.
The K A system in Newark N.J, American black belt Academy in Arlington Texas, Fort Worth Karate Academy, Ed Parkers Kenpo Karate in Arlington Texas, Bruce Marshals Kung Fu in Newark N.J., Osan Air Base Karate school in Osan Korea, The House of Judo in Bloomfield N.J., U.S karate in Fort Worth Texas, Lamb Brothers Martial Arts Fort Worth Texas.
In my 44 years in the martial arts I notice it is not like it use to be when I was younger I would go to any martial school with my gear, I would introduce my self to the instructor and I would sit with the other visitors. The instructor would ask me to join in the class, most of the time it was just as the sparring would start. ( this is how I would pick up on so many different styles). There are a few schools that will let you do the same today but not many.
To many school want to be style specific, if you don't be come a member of there system you can not work out with them.
In 2004 I came back to Texas after staying in Macon G.A for a year. Out of ten schools in the area only one would let me come in and work out with them. When I got back to the D.F.W. area the older instructors would let you work out with them but the newer instructors would not.
A martial arts student must be able to grow. When he / she are limited to just one concept the growth of that student as a well rounded martial artist is limited as well.

Chon-Ja-Hudum

Creative Flow

Creative Flow
American Martial Art is the system, Chon-Ja-Hudum is the style of creative flow, creative flow is as it states. The idea and concept of Chon-Ja-Hudum is not new, to blend other arts or concepts together. To add to or remove from, to make it work in the from or fashion that will benefit the style. Chon-Ja-Hudum incorporates Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Okinawan and American disciplines. What makes the style different from other is we incorporate Black belt self made katas. When our candidates for black belt go before a test board they must have a working self made kata on paper and be able to perform the kata as well. the kata is then incorporated into the style.
Chon-Ja-Hudum has a Korean foundation, Combining with Chinese, Japanese, Okinawan and American Boxing. moving away from stiff fixed stances to more flowing movements.
Shodan Daniel (Professor) Huddleston receiving Katana
All students earning a black belt receives a Katana. Just as the black belt represents the students knowledge, the Katana represents the soul / spirit of the martial artist. when the student receives his/her black they are given a name, the name fits the students personalty.
The student is given the name soldier, the Katana becomes soldier making the the Katana and the student one.
